Founded by Sidney Bernstein in 1954, Granada TV was born and started transmitting as an independent TV Channel.  Based in Quay Street, Manchester, it is an icon of Mancunian Nostalgia.  Producing TV shows including World in Action, Brideshead Revisited, The Jewel In The Crown and of course Coronation Street!
